| The Isle of Man lies midway between mainland Britain and Ireland, in the middle of the Gulf Stream, which means that it enjoys one of the mildest climates in the British Isles. This accounts for the palms and other exotic plants that abound here. The island has over 100 miles of beautiful coastline with dunes, rocky cliffs, sweeping beaches and secluded coves, whilst inland there are mountains, unspoilt moorland, glens and woods.
Douglas, the capital of the Island, is a working harbour as well as a traditional holiday resort, offering lots to see and do, with great shops, award winning museums, a beautiful promenade and even a casino. So you'll find plenty to occupy your leisure time!
